We would like to ask any members, former or current, if they have any photos of
the teams that the played for and if they would like to see them posted onto
the site,
please send a mail to the club and we will organize getting them put up on
our Photos section, we are trying to build a selection of photos of teams past
and present.
The club would like to thank Dunnes Stores in the Mill Centre, Clondalkin for their
help and co-operation during the bag packing day held recently.
St Marks and Rosario in Belfast are hoping to form a lasting link for the
future which will benefit both clubs, we hope to have another day like the one
in June 2003. The plan is that some of the St Marks teams will travel to Rosario
in return games and hopefully this will continue into the future, check out
rosarios website on more about the club.
The club had its presentation day on July 12th in the Coldcut club. A great day
was had by managers, parents and players. We would like to thank all the parents
who were there on the day and a special thank you to Trevor Crolly for helping
to present the trophies to the players.
St Marks Academy is run in conjunction
with the Irish Youth Federation
St Marks Rangers Soccer Academy
We would like to
thank Mick Duff for running the academy during the summer, the academy was great success
in helping to teach the younger children in the area the basic's of soccer.
The players who attended are being placed into the U7 and U8 teams which will be
competing in the DDSL league this year.
Club Expansion
St Marks will be undertaking an expansion for the 2004 Season with the inclusion
of a U7, U8 and a second U15. This will bring the number of teams to 9 schoolboy
and 1 Senior team. We will be catering for 7,8,9,10,11,12,14 and a U15 Team.
We hope to cater for all age groups, but Rome wasn't built in a day!.
We will be putting all our managers through a FAI Course to improve coaching within
the club and to set a standard for coaching.
So a lot of work to be done but the club is confident of the future.

League Of Ireland Team Affiliation
We are looking to affiliate with a League of Ireland club with the
prospect of offering our teams as a nursery to that club. We hope to be able
to work with the club with regard to players for the future. Any clubs

FAI Course Completed
Well done to the managers in St Marks who have
completed the basic FAI Couching Course, Ger Morris, Mick Byrne, Alan Lee and
Sean Duff have all completed the course. We hope that all the managers
will complete the course in the future, a special thanks to Tammy Tallan of
Ronanstown Youth Service and to Maxie McCann who helped to put the managers through the
course and paces.

Club reverts to original colors!
The club has decided to revert to the original club colors of Tangerine and
Black. All of the teams playing this season have been given new kits.
The season has started, all of the teams in the SDFL and DDSL have commenced their season this
weekend. Best of luck to the teams, especially the new teams and new managers.
