St Marks Rangers U14's

U14's, A Brief History

The current U14 team started in the DDSL in the 8B1 division. After a good start finishing third, they then moved to 9B1 division, they were runners up in that season, 1 point adrift from Shamrock Rovers.

At under 10 level they were promoted to the 10A1 league and after a very good season they again finished up runners up to St Joesphs Boys. Ironically they were beaten on penalties by St Joesphs Boys in the League Cup of the same year.

The team is managed by Ger Morris. Ger has been involved since the start of the U10 season with great success.

We have had our trials for the 2003/2004 season and we would like to offer a warm welcome to our new players. Manager Ger Morris is delighted with the turnout in the trials for the team, all the old players are back yet again and also some new additions to strenghten the squad. Both manager and team are looking forward to the new challenges in the league. The U14 team play in the DDSL on Sat mornings.

End of Season News

Mick Byrne has finished as manager of the U13 team, he would like to wish Gerry and the lads all the best for the future.
